About Us
After making quilt tops faster than I could quilt them, I found the world of Long Arm Quilting. My newest "hobby" was about to turn into a full time dream job. My children were school age, so with some thought and planning my husband, Dave and I took a chance and bought a Gammill Optimum Plus. We have two boys, Zack and Kyle. Taking their initials we named my new business Zany Kreations.
In April of 2001, we put our new machine in an empty apartment above my husband's business - A&B Heating. When I ran out of my own quilt tops, good friends trusted me to try my hand at quilting their quilts. Through word of mouth my business began to grow.
In 2007 Dave and I built a new building to house A&B Heating, Zany Kreations and two other businesses. I felt I had arrived because I was now on the ground floor. My customers no longer had to make their way straight up 21 steps to drop off their quilt tops. My passion is custom quilting. When I am not busy quilting quilt tops for customers, I piece together my own tops and quilt them. I absolutely love going to "work" everyday.
